Red hair brooch

This is a little handmade textile brooch representing a girl character with a toothy smile and ginger hair.

She is made from coffee and tea dyed fabric. Her hair is made from a beautiful mohair wool in red/orange tones. Her eyes and smile are drawn with acrylic paint.

She measures approximately 5.5 cm in length and 3 cm in width without measuring her crazy hair.
At the back she has a brooch pin mounted.

The brooch is signed and is mounted with a safety pin.

Although it is sold as a brooch, it can absolutely be used as a mini textile artwork home decor.
This is not intended for children use.

Keep away from any wetness source.
Keep away from direct sunlight when not in use.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
