The Easter Sisters Witch #1

The Easter Witch Sisters are looking rather happy to be born on Easter, this is rather unusual in the Witchy world and they feel very unique.
This is the sister #1.

She is handmade inspired by my bigger artworks and I have turned her into a brooch thanks to a fastening sewn on her back.
She is made from calico cotton that I have painted with black acrylic paint. Her hair is made of black felting wool, her legs are slightly dangling and she holds a mini pumpkin in her left arm.

She is signed.
She is not a toy and should be kept away from children, fire and water.

Measurements
She is approximately 10 cm /3.94 Inch tall.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
