Fish Girl is going for a walk (Mini)

This is a handmade textile artwok inspired by folk art and by the seaside.

Fish Girl is loving to live by the seaside and she enjoys taking her little red nose rasbora friend for daily walks, they both appreciate the fresh air.
Fish Girl is sewn in calico and her clothes are made from upcycled textiles. Her face and hair are painted with acrylic paint. She wears yellow boots that are also painted.
Red nose rasbora is made of calico too and was dyed with inktense pencils. He is safely attached to his friend's arms.

Measurements
This artwork is a mini version of my bigger works.
It measures approximately 13cm or 5.11Inch.

Please display away from direct sunlight and keep away from any sources of water.
I have sewn a little loop at the back of the girl's head so it can be displayed easily and nicely on your walls.

The artwork is signed.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
