Miss Polkadot and her BFF

Miss Polkadot feels like she is the luckiest little dog ever! She gets to spend ALL her time with her best friend forever! She is so happy and so is her sweet little friend.
Miss Polkadot is made from painted calico cotton. I have painted her with acrylic paints. She wears a pretty outfit (not removable) made from upcycled materials. Her little fish friend was dyed with Inktense pencils.
I have sewn a little loop on the back of her head so she can be displayed nicely and easily in your home. Please keep away from direct sunlight as well as from any contact with water.

The artwork is signed.

It is approximately 16cm/6.25 Inch.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
