Cat and fish BFF

Little kitty is taking the responsibilities coming with the status of Best Friends Forever, very seriously. She holds on her fish friend very tightly to make sure they are safe and happy at all times.
Kitty is made from calico cotton painted tuxedo colour with acrylic paint. She wears a pretty outfit (not removable) made from upcycled materials. Her little fish friend is dyed with Inktense pencils.

I have sewn a little loop on the back of kitty's head so she can be displayed nicely and easily in your home. Please keep away from direct sunlight as well as from any contact with water.

The artwork is signed.
Measurements
It is approximately 18cm /7Inch tall.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
