This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art dolls.

Little kitty and little hen are best friends and they are ready to travel the world for a life of adventure together.
They are both made from a mix of new and upcycled materials. Their colours are painted with acrylic paints. Kitty wears a dress and top with a few patches on and she holds her friend tightly against her chest.

She is signed and has a little loop sewn on her back for an easy display in your home.

Measurements.
She is approximately 15cm or 5.9 inches tall with her ear up as pictured.

Please display away from direct sunlight and keep away from any contact with water/humidity.
This is not a toy and has been created for display only.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
