Hopeful Hearts (sold separately)

These two little ones are handmade inspired by folk art dolls.

Each character is made from a mix of new and upcycled materials and they both hold a little heart stained with coffee in their arms.
Little cat is painted with acrylic.
The girl's face is stitched and painted, her hair is made of black felting wool. Her red shoes are painted too.

Measurements

The girl is 19cm tall, the cat is 14.5 cm tall.
They are both signed.
I have sewn loops at the back of their heads so they can be displayed nicely in your home.
They cannot sit or stand on their own.
They are not toys.

Please display away from direct sunlight and keep away from any contact with any source of water.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
