Bat-Cat

This is an handmade textile artwok inspired by folk art dolls.

I think this little one is a little cat dressed up as a bat really and she really looks like she is on a mission to save the world... Or to bite anyone she meets mayve, I am not sure what her real intentions are, so beware the bat-cat!
She is handmade from painted textiles and her clothes are made from upcycled fabrics.
She has a loop at the back of the head so she can be displayed nicely in your home.
Please keep away from direct sunlight and from any contact with a source of water.

Measurements
She measures approximately 16.5 cm or 6.5 inches.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
