Big Ears kitty

This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art dolls.

I always enjoy creating little cats as I love their expressions. This little one was gifted with two giant ears which means she probably can hear you every time you open the food cupboard...
She is made from textile and painted calico colours with acrylic. She wears a little dress made from upcycled materials.

At the back, she is signed and I have added a little loop so she can be displayed on your walls nicely.

Measurements:
She measures approximately 18cm/7.08 inches.

Please display away from direct sunlight and from any source of water.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
