Friends II
These two little cuties are having a lot of fun together. I might even dare to say that they are best friends, pretty unusual for a fish and a cat, isn't it?
They are made from painted textiles and the clothes of the Little kitty were cut in upcycled materials.
They are both looking very happy like two fish in the water and I have sewn a little loop at the back of kitty's head so they can share their happiness hanging safely from a wall.
Alternatively, whilst they cannot stand on their own but can be propped against a bigger and heavier object.
Measurements
They are approximately 14 cm tall or 5.3inches.
Display away from direct sunlight and from any source of water.
If ordering from the USA, please be aware that the tax exemption for all goods entering your country will end on the 29th of August. Deliveries usually take around 10 days to reach their destination but this is not always the case so there is always a risk that any orders could get taxed.
As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
