Mushroom Gal

This is a handmade mini textile artworks inspired by folk art dolls.

This little mushroom is looking very cute in her floral pink dress. She likes to think that her cap is a hat and is very delighted at how it matches beautifully with her vibrant red hair, she feels like a star when she enjoys a walk in the woods
She is handmade from textiles, acrylic paint and red felting wool.

Although she has reached her full size, she is still very little as she is only 10cm/3.9inches tall.

I have added a little loop at the back so she can be displayed nicely in your home.
She is not a toy, she is designed for decoration only.
She is signed.

Please display away from direct sunlight and keep away from any contact with water.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
