Just a bear and her fish friend

This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art.

Little Bear is having a stroll with her best friend, Big Blue Fish.
They are both sewn in calico cotton that I have painted, dyed and stained for a unique colour.
Little bear is wearing a dress (sewn on her body) made of upcycled materials. She holds tightly on her little friend.
One of her legs is longer than the other and that's fine.

I have sewn a little loop at the back of her head so she can be displayed easily and nicely on your walls. She cannot stand nor sit.
Please display away from direct sunlight and from any contact with any sources of water.

Measurements
She measures approximately 13 cm or 5.11 Inch at her longest.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
