My happy little dog

This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art dolls.

These two little cuties are made from calico and both are lightly painted.
The hair are made from black felting wool. The outfit was made from upcycled textiles and I have added a few pat he's here and there for a well-loved look.
She has a red polkadot bloomer and one of her legs is significantly shorter than the other.
She holds her best friend in her arms, the cutest little dog with a smile.

The artwork is signed.
She has a loop at the back of the head so she can be displayed nicely on your walls. She cannot stand but she can sit against a wall on a shelf.

Measurements
She is approximately 21cm or 8.2 inches tall.
Please display away from direct sunlight or from any water/humidity source.

This is not a toy.
As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
