Custom Order for A. Bat Cat and her friend

This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art dolls.

Little Bat Cat is holding her cute little kitty friend and they are both smiling at the idea of the adventures expecting them.
They are handmade from a mix of bew and upcycled materials. The wings and bodies have been painted with acrylic paint. Bat cat wears an outfit with a red polka dot skirt with a few patches on.
On the back, the artwork is signed and has been mounted as a brooch as requested.

Measurements
This artwork is approximately 17 tall and 13 cm wide at its widest (the wings).

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
