This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art dolls.

As discussed, a little dog with a red polka dot skirt.
She is approximately 20cm tall.
Made from fabric, dye and paint.
She holds on tightly and happily to a big bone, she surely is a good girl :)

This is not a toy.
As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
