I am going on an adventure!

This is a mixed media artwork inspired by folk art and by my love of nature.

If you ask me, I really have no idea what this little creature is supposed to be.... She had very strong ideas on how she wanted to look like and I just followed her lead, for the best I think.
She is handmade from textiles, wire, Felting wool, a glass eye, wooden sticks and a snail shell I had kept as a treasure for a very long time now. She is standing on two wired legs stuck on a slice of wood. The shell is secured on her back with Threads. I believe it is her secret and magical backpack but I wouldn't be surprised if is also provides shelter as she goes on her many adventures.

Measurements
She is measuring approximately 17cm (plus a bit of pink hair) or 6.7 inches.

She is not a toy.
She is signed.
Please manipulate gently and display away from direct sunlight and avoid any contact with water.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
