Little Witch and broomstick

This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art and by Halloween.

This little witch is super cute with her beautiful skirt and witch hat.
She is handmade from textile that I have painted in black. Her hat is sewn on her head and the skirt on her body.
In her arms, she holds a little broomstick.

She is signed.
She has a little loop at the back of her neck so she can be displayed on your walls nicely.
She cannot stand. While she cannot sit on her own either, she can sit if propped against a book on a shelf for example.

Measurements
She measures approximately 16.5cm or 6.4 inches.

This is not a toy.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
