The pink wool

This is a handmade textile artwork inspired by folk art and the playful nature of little cats.

This little one is really cute in her blue outfit. She is handmade from a mix of new and upcycled materials and in her arms she holds a pink ball of wool which will keep her entertained for hours...
She is signed and has a little loop at the back of the head so age can be displayed on your walls nicely.
Please keep away from direct sunlight and avoid contact with any sources of water.

She measures approximately 13cm or 5.1 inches.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
