Blue Pigtails and her little friend

This is a custom order for D.

Textile art doll made with new and upcycled textiles stained with coffee.
It features a little character with blue hair holding a little cat in her arms.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
